Daytime Menu

The menu has an emphasis on regional street food from India & Nepal. Quick tasty snacks with punchy flavours. Smaller and reasonably priced portions lend themselves to mixing, matching and sharing with fellow diners.
Choose from among other things samosa chat, pani puri, Medhu Vada with coconut chutney, kedgeree with poached duck egg or for something more substantial you could try our Thalis, Masala Dosa or perhaps the scallop and mussel rasam with tempered steam cake.

Dinner Menu

Dinner is a slower-paced, more refined affair. Start the meal with a nibble on some crispy tempered Chilli Pickle Mix, a few roasted or fried poppodoms with our signature pickles and chutneys. Then choose a starter (a sample); Tiger prawn shami kebab, Todi shop frogs legs, Gol gappa with tamerind pepper water 

The main course has a luxurious range of vegetarian, meat and seafood items; Crispy Pork Belly Vindaloo, Moilly Seafood pot, Plantation Banana Kofta and Sussex beef for our National award winning melt in the mouth Oxtail Madras.

Tea Menu

Jing sources only the finest loose teas from around the world, they supply such prestigious clients as Harrods and the seven star Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai. Jing has designed a bespoke menu for The Chilli Pickle focusing in particular on regional Indian teas. We have some beautiful white and green teas as well as fruit, herbal and floral teas.
